Terms of use
Last updated: October 16, 2026
These terms govern the use of FinOps Move2Cloud (the “Service”), the tool for tracking and optimising cloud spend published by Move2Cloud. Creating an account or using the Service means accepting these terms. This English version is a translation provided for convenience: in the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

2. Purpose of the Service
The Service reads, from the cloud providers the client connects to it, the client's cost data and, depending on the permissions granted, the inventory of its resources. From these it draws spend tracking, a history, forecasts, budgets with alerts, dashboards and savings recommendations.
The Service works read-only: it creates, modifies and deletes no resource at the client's providers.
3. Access and account
- The Service is intended for professionals. The person who creates an account declares that they act for their organisation and have the authority to bind it.
- Each user keeps their credentials confidential and answers for the use made of their account. Two-factor authentication is offered, and can be required by the owner of the organisation.
- The owner of the organisation chooses the people they invite and the role they give them; they answer for their use of the Service.
4. Connecting cloud accounts
- The client only connects cloud accounts it holds or for which it has the necessary authorisation.
- It is for the client to grant the Service read permissions only, as the Service recommends at each connection. When a provider does not offer read-only access, the client is told before connecting its account.
- The client can withdraw the access granted at any time, from the Service or directly at its provider.
- Some providers charge for reading cost data. These charges, shown in the Service when they are known, remain payable by the client.
5. Plans, trial and prices
- Discovery: €0, up to €1,000 per month of tracked cloud spend.
- Pro: €49 excl. tax / month, up to €10,000 per month of tracked cloud spend.
- Enterprise: €199 excl. tax / month, then €15 per member beyond 10, up to €40,000 per month of tracked cloud spend; beyond that, on quotation.
The applicable plan depends on the cloud spend tracked by the Service: the average of the last three closed months, all providers combined. To establish it, Move2Cloud uses the total amount of that spend, for that purpose alone. Exceeding it neither suspends nor limits the Service: the client is told, and the move to the corresponding plan is made by mutual agreement.
What each plan includes is described on the site and in the Service. A trial of the Pro plan is offered once per organisation, for 14 days, with no means of payment; at its end, the organisation goes back to its previous plan if it has not subscribed.
A paid plan takes effect after agreement between the client and Move2Cloud. Published prices exclude taxes; the applicable price is the one agreed with the client. Invoices are issued by Move2Cloud and made available in the Service; their payment terms are stated on them.
6. Scope of the information provided
The amounts shown come from the client's providers. They may differ from its invoices: depending on the provider, they exclude taxes, credits or discounts, and are converted to euros when the provider bills in another currency.
Forecasts, savings estimates and recommendations, including those produced with the help of an artificial intelligence model, are decision aids. They are neither a guarantee of result nor advice binding Move2Cloud. The client remains the sole judge of the decisions it takes on its infrastructure and of their consequences.
7. Availability
Move2Cloud uses reasonable means to ensure access to the Service and the freshness of the data. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance or updates, and depends on the availability of the cloud providers' interfaces, over which Move2Cloud has no control.
8. Prohibited uses
The client must not attempt to access the data of another organisation, circumvent the limits of its plan, disrupt the operation of the Service, or resell it without the written agreement of Move2Cloud.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, its code, its presentation and its brand remain the property of Move2Cloud. The client receives a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use, for the duration of its access. The client's data remains its property.
10. Data and privacy
Move2Cloud processes the client's data to provide the Service, and for nothing else. Their nature, their protection, the processors involved and the rights of individuals are described in the privacy policy.
11. Liability
Move2Cloud is bound by an obligation of means. It is not liable for indirect damage, such as loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of profit, nor for the consequences of a decision taken by the client on the basis of the information in the Service. Its liability is limited, for all damage combined, to the sums paid by the client for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to it. These limits do not apply where the law prohibits them.
12. Term, termination and deletion
- The client can stop using the Service at any time. The owner of the organisation can delete it from its settings: its access, the credentials of its providers, its cost history, its budgets and its alerts are then erased.
- Move2Cloud may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms, after informing the client when circumstances allow.
13. Changes to the terms
These terms may change, in particular with the Service. The version in force is the one published at this address, with its date of update. Clients are informed of significant changes.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable agreement, any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the place of the registered office of Move2Cloud.
