Subscription and billing

The tool is used with a subscription, the organisation owner's, shared with their team. The plan follows the cloud spend tracked: the average of the last three closed months, all providers together. On a paid plan, going over it blocks nothing; on Starter, which is free, the synchronisations stop while it is above €1,000 a month, and the data stays available. Prices exclude tax, per month.

The cloud connections and dashboards of each plan are for the whole organisation: cloud connections are shared by the whole team, and dashboards all count together, private or shared, all authors combined.

Invoices are issued by Move2Cloud and paid by card, SEPA direct debit or PayPal, collected on their due date when online payment is on. The owner subscribes online from Organisation settings → Subscription: the plan is active at once; they then move alone from Standard to Pro, or back, and ask for the Enterprise plan.

The owner cancels the subscription from the same page, with one month's notice once the trial is over (free before the first invoice): it stays invoiced until then, with no refund, then the organisation moves to Starter, free, where its data stays as long as someone signs in: an organisation on Starter that nobody signs in to for 90 days is deleted, after reminders to the owner 14 days, 7 days and the day before; one sign-in is enough to avoid it.

Changing plan, cancelling, deleting

Everything is done from the console, by the owner of the organisation, without waiting for Move2Cloud; only the Enterprise plan is asked for. The limits of each plan are in the table of plans. The detail of each move, plan by plan, is in Changing plan.

Cards keep their prices, quotas and features. “Change plan”, “Review the change” or “Request a quote” opens the review: current and target prices, effective date and billing, usage and limits, required corrections and collapsible differences. Non-blocking excess is distinguished from blockers. Management links open in another tab and quotas reload on return. Conditions are checked again before confirmation; changed conditions require a fresh confirmation. Moving to Starter opens this review, then the existing identity confirmation and cancellation. The first click never cancels anything.

Subscribing

During the 14-day trial, or on Starter, the owner subscribes alone to Standard or Pro, from Organisation settings → Subscription: a dialog asks for what is still missing (the billing details, then a means of payment: card, SEPA direct debit or PayPal), then confirms the plan, active at once. During the trial, subscribing does not interrupt it: nothing is billed before it ends, and the plan chosen then is billed from the day after, on the first invoice. Until then, moving from Standard to Pro, or back, is immediate and free, and cancelling costs nothing: notice and prorata only apply after the trial.

Moving to a higher plan

It applies at once. The next invoice includes the difference of price for the days left of the month paid, in proportion, then the new plan's price each month. For instance, from Standard (€49 excl. tax) to Pro (€149 excl. tax) with 16 days left of a 31-day month: €100 × 16 / 31 = €51.61 excl. tax, then €149 excl. tax a month. The amount is shown before you confirm. You can also move straight from Starter or the trial to Pro (the Starter → Pro table above); the Subscription page puts forward the “Recommended” plan: the one covering your tracked spend, else the one just above.

Moving back to a lower plan

It applies on the first day after the month paid, with no refund; “Keep the plan”, in Subscription, gives it up until then. It is chosen only once the organisation fits in its limits: “Review the change” opens the dialog showing what must be removed (cloud connections, dashboards, members or invitations), with management links. Only the final confirmation is blocked. On return, “Recheck usage” reloads the quotas. Whatever is added beyond them before its first day is then switched off, the first ones staying on.

• Public links are taken away within the hour, when the new plan gives none (Standard, Starter).
• The extra seats and dashboards bought end at the end of their month, when the new plan sells none.
• Leaving Enterprise, enterprise sign-in is no longer required and the directory lets nobody in: everyone signs in with their Move2Cloud account.

Cancelling the subscription

From Subscription, after confirming who you are: one month's notice, once the trial is over (subscribed during the trial, cancelling before the first invoice costs nothing, and the trial goes on to its end). The plan stays active and invoiced until then, with no refund, and the cancellation can be taken back until its day. Then the organisation moves to Starter, free: its data stays as long as someone signs in: an organisation on Starter that nobody signs in to for 90 days is deleted, after reminders to the owner 14 days, 7 days and the day before; one sign-in is enough to avoid it.

Deleting the organisation or your account

• The organisation: Organisation settings → Security → Delete the organisation, after confirming who you are. It goes with its team and its data; your Move2Cloud account stays, unless you tick its box too, and you can create another organisation.
• Your account: My account → Security → Delete my account. Alone in the organisation (Starter and Standard have no team), it goes with it; with a team, you hand it over to a member, or delete it with them.
• Your accounts with the cloud providers are never affected; the invoices already issued stay with Move2Cloud.

Confirmations

Each change (subscription, higher or lower plan, answer to a request, cancellation and its taking back) is confirmed by e-mail to the owner, and in the notifications of those who manage billing.

Changing plan

What changes, move by move: what the new plan adds or takes away, and what becomes of what goes beyond it. The general rules (when the change applies, how it is invoiced) are in Changing plan, cancelling, deleting.
